Winner — Master Painters Australia, Awards for Excellence 2024 (Residential Multi-Unit Repaint > $200k, NSW & ACT)
A coastal high-rise facing salt-laden winds and corrosion needed comprehensive
remedial works without wrapping the building in scaffolding. As the builder and
owner, the client required premium materials, tidy sequencing for residents, and a
dependable programme—without lane closures or months of scaffolding around the
tower.
CPR’s director-led team designed an end-to-end remedial and repaint package anchored by our Portable Elevator Access Rope System (PEARS®):
Installed and de-installed PEARS® to give safe, rapid full-height access with no scaffolds, hoarding or view loss.
Executed rust spot, concrete spalling, and render repairs with a strict focus on structural integrity; repainted all metal handrails and balustrades.
System built around Acratex® AcraShield® Advance with DUREBILD® STEepoxy spot-priming and Fosroc primers/bonders for durable adhesion and coastal protection.
The tower was divided into four vertical stages (~4 weeks each) to minimise disruption, supported by weekly updates and SFS360® quality checks.
≈ $100k saved in access costs by eliminating scaffold hire, erection and dismantling
On-programme completion across four stages with minimal resident impact
Coastal-grade protection and refreshed presentation using a premium, warranty-ready coating system.
Lifecycle care - The client engaged CPR for periodic AssetCare™ washing and touch-ups to preserve performance and appearance
“CPR’s professionalism and quality were excellent, and not needing scaffolding was a key
reason we selected them. The building was split into four vertical stages, making it easier
for occupants, and we’ve now signed up for periodic maintenance and care going forward.”
– Michael Sahyoun — Builder & Owner
