What Does “ASP” Stand
For?

ASP, or Accredited Service Partner, is an experienced trade professional who has been carefully chosen to work with CPR considering their past experience, knowledge, and credentials.

ASPs enjoy a far more equitable, fair, and mutually benefitting partnership which far outweighs those of Market Subcontractors. Below is a quick snapshot showing the clear differentiation and benefits that CPR ASPs enjoy. This association is further nurtured by the strong value CPR places on all its people, customers and suppliers.

What Services Does CPR Provide And Need Sub-Contractors For?

We are advancing and growing our capabilities by providing consultancy and diagnosis services and taking on larger and more complex projects related to structural remediation and waterproofing by tapping into government, industrial, education, and hospitality sectors. To support this growth, we are looking for passionate individuals to join our team

Market Subcontractors

Appearance

Often compromised

Sometimes there’s no commitment for ongoing work, tradesmen often are left caring less about looking neat and professional

Communication

Often compromised

SubContractors usually have less frequent interactions and bigger chain of communication with Primary contractor and client makes communication less effective and often leads to confusion.

Customer Focus

Inconsistent team

SubContractors often don’t care much about customer queries or satisfaction as they are often themselves dissatisfied with the primary contractor’s rigid contract terms.

Partnership

Short lived and not so healthy

Subcontractors are often led to feel inferior as they can fall victim to unjust and subordinate behavior if the primary contractor does not operate ethically and to high standards..

Payment Terms

Long and unfair

Most SubContractors complaint of more than 60-90 days delayed payment terms with several strict and unfair conditions and compliances to be met before releasing the payment.

Safety Consciousness

Not taken seriously

Most safety breaches by SubContractors are the result of excessive push on production to maximize their margins and that is where safety is compromised.

Tenure

Sourced for the job

Subcontractors are typically hired for the job based on the cheapest quote value with higher risk of compromising service and quality standards.

What Experience, Credentials Or Certifications Do I Need To Become An ASP?

As the majority of our projects involve working at heights to perform tasks such as waterproofing, remediation, application of protective coatings, and other facade maintenance work, our ASPs typically possess extensive background and experience in these trades. They hold relevant certifications in working at heights and various trade skills. Strong past work references further enhance their qualifications. A ‘Construction Card’ and ‘Working at Heights’ certificate are the minimum requirements for any ASP.

What Is Expected Of An ASP When Working On CPR's Project?

Over the years CPR has built an unparalleled reputation in the market for our commitment to quality workmanship and superior customer service. Our incident free record is a testament to our high safety standards.
It’s critical that our ASPs uphold the same quality, safety and service standards that we have been maintaining year after year. With this view, CPR has introduced an objective assessment and scoring system to evaluate our service partners on key performance parameters. The schematic below shows our ASP Assessment Model.

How Can I Become An ASP
With CPR?

How can I become an ASP with CPR?

Any contractor, licensed builder, carpenter, painter, water proffer or trades businessperson interested in working alongside CPR to raise the bar in the construction industry, and build a bright future together, is welcome to apply! You will be asked to fill in a form that asks for some key details and will be used to screen and shortlist ASPs.
These details help us evaluate your suitability for CPR led projects. Once we receive your application, one of our team members will contact you to guide you through the next steps. If your skills and experience align with our requirements, you’ll be registered in our system and, when suitable, offered the chance to bid on projects on offer by CPR.

How ASP's Are Chosen For Cpr Projects;
What Are The Key Selection Criteria?

CPR’s Project Management team is tasked with the responsibility of narrowing down and ultimately selecting an appropriate service partner based on our internal selection criteria (depicted adjacent). We consider factors like competency for the scope of work, availability for timeframes requested by the client, realistic budgets, as well as past associations and long-standing working relationships. This, however, does not limit our capacity to welcome and work with new ASP to continue to grow and strengthen our network of service partners. The PM team can also exercise their discretion and judgment within the periphery of selection criteria to ensure the best value for CPR.
