Project overview
Landmark Apartments is a very prestigious property of 281 apartments in 8 towers, located very close to Parliament House and Lake Burley Griffith.
The owners at the Landmark had decided to repaint their buildings façade; however, one of their key concerns was to avoid any unnecessary damage to their beautiful manicured gardens. In fact, the gardens were a showpiece in themselves.
Up to 15 painting contractors attended the first site meeting and everyone’s view was that the building
needed to be scaffolded for the up and coming repaint.
However, CPR/FUS put in our proposal which showed the owners that the building could be repaired and repainted scaffold-free. We subsequently met with the owners and also invited them to view other jobs we had completed.
We were awarded the contract, executed a plan to have 12 tradesmen and the necessary safety leaders and project mangers in Canberra for 12 weeks and the whole job was wrapped up in our projected timetable. All gardens were left how they were when we started.
The owners were tickled pink with the results as the 8 buildings looked like new again, all remedial repairs had been addressed professionally and all with a’ whopping’ financial saving to the owners from CPR’s patented Scaffold-Free™ technology.
